Despite the tensions, his parents had to meet with Styrbjorn about Harald Fairhair's growing power. Discussing the possible reprimand by Styrbjorn, Eivor showed Randvi her father's axe and it brought back memories of some kind. During the feast, Sigurd talked about his travels as he talked with Styrbjorn about dealing with Kjotve.[15]
From his arrival, Sigurd introduced the Hidden Ones Basim Ibn Ishaq and Hytham to Eivor as his friends he found in Constantinople. During the feast, Sigurd gifted Eivor a hidden blade.
