Odmar

Odmar was a Viking warrior from Denmark, who went to England during the Viking expansion.

Biography

In the late 9th century, Odmar and his band of warriors fought for Ubba Ragnarsson. After raiding and killing many priests, they stationed themselves outside of an anchorite's hut to see if he would die twice, believing he was a living-dead creature. They were joined by Geirmund Hel-hide for a day, though he stole one of their ships and all of their oars before leaving them behind. They left their camp angry, forgetting about the anchorite.
