Moira is a Anglo-Saxon woman and the herbalist and healer of the jarl-turned-king, Halfdan Ragnarsson, during the 9th century in Eurvicscire, Northumbria. She helped to treat Halfdan, who experienced illness, in terms of both his emotional health and his physical health.

Moira met with the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir at a celebration in Donecaestre that was held for the latest victory against the Picts.
