Medon (died c. 48 BCE) was a commander of the Ptolemaic forces at Pissa Oros Citadel in the Isolated Desert of Egypt.
Biography
Around 48 BCE, during a raid on the rebel camp at Theos Elpis Rift, Medon noticed the child, Istellah, with a great shield she had retrieved from the ruined temple of Alexander the Great. Istellah refused to give it to Medon, so Medon abducted her with the shield to Pissa Oros.[1]
According to Sebni, a rebel from Remetch Ra, Medon was an "angry bald man, surrounded by bodyguards". That was a description the Medjay Bayek of Siwa agreed with when he hunted down Medon and killed him and his bodyguards.[1]
Trivia
- In the dialogue of the memory, Medon is addressed as a Greek Soldier instead.
