Lucas Bellini was a Roman Master Assassin of the Italian Brotherhood who traveled to Spain during the Reconquista.

Biography

Born to a family of Assassins in Rome, Lucas Bellini developed an immediate kinship with the Ezio Auditore da Firenze upon meeting the Florentine Assassin.[1] For this reason, he regarded it as a tremendous honor when,[1] in 1491,[2] he was invited by Ezio to Spain to assist in his mission against the Spanish Inquisition.[1]

A decade later,[3] Ezio arrived in Lucas's hometown of Rome to launch a campaign against the ruling Borgia Templars. By this point a Master Assassin, he staunchly committed himself to this cause to revitalize the city.[1]

Personality and traits

Lucas Bellini was a man, raised in an Assassin family, who held the utmost loyalty to the Assassin Brotherhood he called home. Because of his convictions in the Assassin ideals, he bonded instantly with Ezio Auditore da Firenze,[1] the Florentine Assassin who would someday become the legendary Mentor of the Italian Brotherhood.[4] To Lucas, Ezio was both a teacher and a hero, and his admiration and respect for him was so unyielding that he would never second guess his idol's orders.[1]

He extended this steadfast devotion to his fellow comrades as well, for though he was normally calm and affable, he was also fiercely protective of his brothers-in-arms. This attitude lent itself well to his juggernaut style of combat where he would use his resilience to shrug off mortifying wounds until his allies were safe.[1]
