Javier (born 2001) is a teenager and a childhood friend of Owen. The young teenager of is also a descendant of the Cormac family.

In 2016, despite the fact that they eventually grew apart after the young latino discovered his own homosexuality, Javier accepted to help Owen to prove the innocence of his father, who died after being sent to prison. Owen wanted to use a clandestine Animus owned by the mysterious Monroe to relive the memories of his father's supposed bank robbery. Despite the fact that Monroe could'nt help Owen due to the limitations of the Animus, Javier was very curious and they decided to use the Animus anyway and experienced the memories of two of their ancestors who met during the Spanish conquest of the Aztec Empire.

During the session, Javier firsthandly felt the power of one of the Pieces of Eden, when Hernán Cortés used it on his ancestor Chimalpopoca. The discovery of clues potentially leading to the Trident of Eden also attracted the attention of both the Assassin Brotherhood and Templar Order.

Trivia

• Being gay and while using the Animus, Javier was confused by the feelings of his heterosexual ancestors, notably the physical attraction of Chimalpopoca for Cortés' lover, the beautiful Marina.
