Hòn Mê is an island of the archipelago of the same name in the Gulf of Tonkin off the coast of Vietnam.
History
In the 1960s, Hòn Mê was home to the base of operations for the Bloodstone Unit, a group of Assassins led by Boris Pash.[1] In July 1964, some Assassins fled the base due to Julia Gorm's escape, though others like Dhogura stayed behind to destroy evidence, burning everything. Alekseï Gavrani went to Hòn Mê in a mission to retrieve Boris Pash's Apple of Eden, but Pash had already left.[2]
Tracking Pash down to Ninh Bình, Gavrani learned he had buried it in Hòn Mê, but he would die before getting the chance to retrieve it. Pash later traded the information with William King Harvey in return for medical assistance for Zenia and their unborn child. Harvey had the Apple retrieved.[2]
