I wanted to ask you something. Which is... what's your name? This article title is conjecture. Although the article subject is canon, no official name for it has been given. |
The Greek Rite of the Templar Order were a group of like-minded individuals who swore an allegiance to the Templar ideals, and operated throughout Ancient Greece during the 4th century BCE.
History
Assisting Alexander the Great
In the 4th century BCE, The Templars allied themselves with Macedonian King Alexander the Great. As a symbol of their alliance, the Templars entrusted Alexander with a Staff of Eden, which helped Alexander to create one of the largest empires in history and become one of the most successful military commanders.[1][2] However, on 13 June 323 BCE, Alexander was poisoned inside the palace of Nebuchadnezzar II by the Babylonian Assassin Iltani, who then retrieved the Staff. After Alexander's death, his empire soon began to crumble.[3]
Renaissance
In 1511, the Templars leaders in Athens paid Ottoman soldiers handsomely for looted goods. In response, Assassin Mentor Ezio Auditore sent some Assassins from Constantinople to Athens in order to eliminate them.[4]
That same year, the Assassins discovered that the Templars from Rhodes were commanding the Templars in Tripoli and subsequently cut off their supply and communication lines.[4]
Seven Years' War
During the Seven Years' War, Shay Cormac sent some agents of his fleet to the island of Crete, which had been used by the Templar Order as a headquarters many times across the centuries, to depart for nearby kingdoms. They recovered a Cretan Mosaic of the Minoan Civilization.[5]
