Finnr was a Viking warrior and a friend of Eivor.
Biography
During the 9th century, Finnr assisted Eivor in assaulting Burgh Castle to avenge Oswald of East Anglia. Upon breaching the castle's walls they discovered Oswald to be alive, only captured by the chieftain Rued. After Eivor defeated Rued, Finnr, Eivor, and Valdis freed the client-king. Valdis and Oswald reaffirmed their love for each other, while Finnr went off to nap.[1] Afterwards, Finnr met Eivor at Elmenham for the wedding of Valdis and Oswald.[2]
