Adewale aboard the Jackdaw

Adewale was a former slave from Trinidad, and a member of the Assassin Order. He was Edward Kenway's first mate aboard the Jackdaw.[1]

During the Golden Age of Piracy, Adewale pointed out scenes of interest to the pirate Assassin, who could then intervene or ignore them. At some point, he helped Edward gain the Jackdaw and its crew.[2][3]

Trivia

  • Adewale is a variant of the Yoruba name Adebowale, suggested to mean "crown has come home." [4]
