Beteleah Farm was a small pig farm between Elmenham and Northwic during the 9th century.
History
Around 873 CE, the farm was raided by Rued's men. Some time later, the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan found the ransacked farm still guarded by raiders. Eliminating the raiders and locating a key inside the farm's pig food shed, Eivor managed to enter the house and found the farmer's valuables and a page which read:
