The Kidnapped Scholar was a virtual representation of one of Basim ibn Ishaq's genetic memories.
Description[edit | edit source]
Basim was tasked with rescuing a scholar.
Contract[edit | edit source]
The Kidnapped Scholar
- To all my fellow Hidden Ones,
One of Baghdad's most respected scholars, an expert in local history, has been kidnapped by greedy bandits. He is rumored to be held in the Badaraya Sands Camp.
It is imperative we liberate this academic before he comes to a most unhappy end. Nonetheless, as typical intellectuals, his fellow scholars abhor violence (a noble sentiment, albeit a naïve one). As a result, they have requested that no harm should come to the bandits... if at all possible.
–Abu Jafar
Outcome[edit | edit source]
Basim saved the scholar from captivity.
