Barindra Mitra (died 2017) was an Assassin and the leader of a cell in Asia. In February 2017, Barindra's cell assisted Charlotte de la Cruz in her efforts to gather information about the Templars' Phoenix Project by helping her infiltrate a supposedly-abandoned Abstergo Industries skyscraper in Hong Kong. However, the Assassin turncoat Jasdip Dhami and the Instruments of the First Will ambushed the group and killed the entire cell, with only de la Cruz and the Erudito tech expert Guernica Moneo escaping.^[1]

Trivia

Barindra is a male name of Indian origin, meaning "ocean" in Sanskrit. The last name Mitra is of Indo-Iranian origin meaning "friend", named after the Hindu god of friendship.^{[citation needed]}
