Templates

Charles Sivert

Hi! I wanted to talk about the recently edit-reverted article on Charles Gabriel Sivert. I understand that there may be doubts about the accuracy of the article, but I took a screenshot with my phone of the gameplay of the level by one of the game designers and used what information I took from the video. I am confident that my information was secure, as it was in an official single-player gameplay video that was released (it is one of the videos on the page for Assassin's Creed: Unity). If the information is somehow different in another rendition of the game, the picture at least is 100% official, as it was taken directly from the video. Since you are an administrator, I will do what ever you wish, but I simply ask for your consideration about at least keeping the image (or, better yet, restoring my edit). Thank you! Hey SPR, I appreciate you contacting me instead of just reverting. First, as indicated in the message I left on your talk page back in December, all images uploaded to the wiki must be sourced on the image itself. However, as you've just admitted to taking the picture with your phone, the image is deemed low-quality and will not be used; if you can find a high-quality version of that image, you can upload it with proper sourcing. Onto the other matter: the information. Many of released demos for AC games have either not made it into the final game or have been altered in some way. While we are aware that Sivert is a Templar in the game, anything else in the demo could be merely for the demo's sake and not canon. Again, thank you for taking the time to talk to me about it. Properly tagging image source?

Hi there, I recently uploaded a couple of images and didn't source them properly (sorry about that) but after reading the image rules I'm not sure if they're allowed. They are the artworks for the soundtracks, the source is iTunes and I can get anything from there in the absolute maximum resolution for you.

Not really, because again, that point focuses on Sunset Overdrive. You could Google the "controversy" and find numerous articles from different developers, celebrities, or websites giving their own two cents. I'm not sure if there's actually a policy on this. The wiki uses American spelling, that much I know. However, a lot of the frequent contributors here have been taught to use British spelling and grammar. I for one refuse to adopt the "periods go inside quotations" system, because it does not make sense from a grammatical point of view. The only situation when it's legit is the following:

"I don't know what you're talking about," he said.

Because here we are talking about a full sentence. However, American grammar insists on always jamming comma's and periods in between quotation marks, even when it's blatantly obvious that those comma's and periods are not part of the semantic content that stands between quotations marks. They serve a grammatical function in the overarching sentence, not that one piece of quoted material.

Sima recently requested videos of Abstergo stuff from AC4. While you have those on video, I don't think it's just that, meaning you have other footage of just wandering around and collecting it. Could you record those things in a separate vid, and then put them up on your channel? Just mark the video as "unlisted" afterwards, so people won't see it unless you give out the link, which will be given to us here.

I sent you a message on how to source images. If that doesn't work, open an image uploaded by a senior editor (myself, Kain and Crook come to mind), copy the template used and change the information. If you captured an image straight from the game, the source would be the game you got it from. If you got it from a website, the source would be that website. Ubisoft is usually the author of most images uploaded to the wiki. Also, check edit summaries, as they usually indicate why an edit was reverted. Also also, calm down. Abstergo Entertainment research analyst isn't exactly a real name but in the game itself they called him the Initiate. That name is from the game itself and it has not yet been released to the public but The source information I got is at September 2014. That's not the point. Abstergo Entertainment research analyst is a definitive name. "Initiate" can refer to any one of the many initiates, some of which we already have articles for. Also, who's to say this person actually does something in the game? The research analyst actually interacts with the environment. As far as I've seen, you're just one-way talking to some chick. I don't understand what you're saying. They didn't exactly call the Silent Protagonist in Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag Abstergo Entertainment research analyst in the game. Isn't the name conjecture I mean at one time it was actually called R-L and there was no such name in the game. While in the Assassin's Creed: Unity they call him Initiate which is much more concrete in Black Flag. So you're saying unless he appears moving around exploring like Research Analyst he doesn't count as a real character. Hi. I noticed you recently deleted my page I constructed on Camille and added its introduction to another page, which I noticed also focuses on Camille. Did the page on Camille that you moved my writing to exist before I created my Camille page, and I simply wasn't aware of it? I would appreciate if you could explain the reason. Thank you.

I suppose because, although Camille was a figure of the French Revolution, - a figure I personally admire, - he was never confirmed as a character within Unity, therefore having a page dedicated to his existence and infleunce during the French Revolution would be entirely unnecessary. I believe I now understand why you chose to delete the majority of my writing, which is fine. I simply wanted people interested in Camille and his connection with the French Revolution to be further educated on the subject, but I realize now that only topics which appear within the Assasin's Creed games should be featured within the Wiki.

Forgive me for composing the page on Camille, then. I am very new to this Wiki. I just became a member of it today, in fact. I searched this Wiki for a page on Camille, couldn't find one, and being the history nerd that I am I was very excited to write some of what I've studied about about him on a Wiki. But I am aware of how it works now.

Adding an image

In Hope's case, that would be the concept art in her gallery. The one you uploaded still had shadow between her feet and some kind of glow around her. As far as I know/we've seen, all "supernatural" or special artefacts of the kind are in one way or the other related to TWCB in some shape or form. The newest Nvidia driver update lets me force most games to superscale my native resolution. Dynamic Super Resolution they call it. Essentially I can take shots at 3840x2160. EDIT: We can also add the fact that they never met in person, only Edward had, so having them "Rubbing Elbows" technically never happened, in neither a positive or negative social manner.

If you read the talk page, i posted sufficient evidence(there's a demo reel on her IMDB page and on the other website i linked) to support that it is Annabelle Galea. Someone else also posted a screenshot of the credits that has her name under Voice Talent. Hey, I'm kinda a new contributor to the AC wiki and when i played ACC: china, i read the wiki if there's anything i missed and found out well, almost all the ACC:China lacked info so i filled them up myself. So about Ezio, I found in the database where you get some scrolls and stuff and find out about Jun's past, that he really did saw anger and rage in her eyes/tears and that he knew the precursor box was empty and he figured out that that it might help Shao Jun to choose her path, the same path he took, the path of blood, to rebuild her Brotherhood. I didn't know how to put another reference in the same format or whatever u call it, so i couldn't place a reliable source. Edward's hidden blades

Hi, Stormbeast, I would like to know your opinion about an idea I have about Edward Kenway's hidden blades. First of all, I apologise for my English: I'm not anglophone, but I'm trying doing my best. About the blades, I think they're unique, at least in the game: as you can see, Ah Tabai's, Mary Read's and Dunca Walpole's ones are only decorated by Assassins' emblem.

Why, instead, Edward's blades are decorated by Pirates' skull, too? I thank you for rightly correcting my edit on the page Hidden Blade, but I think this particulare to be an easter egg, because it's notable the protagonist which is both Assassin and Pirate is the only one whose blades are decorated both by Assassins' emblem and Pirates' skull. Pheraps writing showing hi double loyalty was excessive, so, what about to write in the trivia, this:

When referring to the game in general, yes, Edward's blades are unique and one could infer it shows his double loyalty, similar to the flag on the Jackdaw. The video is sponsored by Ubisoft themselves, that's why the uploader skiped a mission to avoid spoilers, or else the video would be taken down by Ubisoft, the source is 100% legit, not fanmade or something it's as much reliable as it will ever be.

Rogue DB

Hi, its Darman. I was talking to Crook and he said that I could work on the Rogue files the player finds in the tablets. I noticed that you recorded the similar tablet audio files in AC4, but the subtitles are not on. I have 2 questions about audio files:

• Is it OK if I transcribe the audio files (Rogue and/or AC4, or neither, your choice) and add them (somehow) to the page? It seems redundant, but all game cutscenes have subtitles written down...
• Did you capture the Rogue audio files? You did all of the AE audio files, but I can't seem to find the Rogue ones here.

Hey Darman. I see no issue with transcribing the audio files, seeing as we do so with everything else. The reason I didn't include the subtitles in my videos is the same reason we avoid images with subtitles. It comes off as more official and pleasing to the eye. • Time periods emails below in tabview.

• Divine Science & Subject 1 interview transcribed in tabber.
• Both Crypto-History files below in tabview.

Subject 17 – All tabber. Only Post-Mortem transcribed, as phone files have scrolling text.

Subject Zero – Again, all tabber.

Policy on Editing Featured Articles

Hey Stormbeast, I wanted to ask whether we had a policy on editing featured articles or what's our stance on it. I just saw a messy edit over on the Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad, and I was quick to revert ultimately because it was a featured article. I actually feel bad about the decision and wonder if I was too bold or hasty, but I was afraid that it would still mess with the state of the featured article even if I corrected it.
