The difference between "its" and "it's"

Hey Joker. I came here to inform you about the difference between "its" and "it's". Well, I think you're confused between the two. Basically, "its" is in the possessive case and "it's" is the shortcut of "it is", "it was", and so on. I hope that clears everything up. :)

Mentor

I don't think you understand how mentors work. You need to become an apprentice, and then a staff member will become your mentor. You don't just randomly ask staff members (both of which are inactive, by the way) if they will mentor you. --Crimson Knight _Intercom 17:19, April 21, 2014 (UTC)

The Timeline category

Please stop adding articles to the Timeline category. They are already there within subcategories--for instance, "Wars" is a subcategory of Timeline, and "American Civil War" is already in that subcategory. Now it's effectively in the Timeline category twice, which is bad practice. -Molotov.cockroach (talk) 01:35, April 26, 2014 (UTC)

Nuisance edits

Unless you persist from making multiple nuisance edits, which seem to consist of the addition of unneeded categories to articles that other users have to remove afterward, you will be heading for a block.

I understand that you are eager to help out, but you need to consider if many of your edits are of any real beneficial use. If not, refrain from adding them.

If you need some more clarity, ask an active user – sparingly, I might add – and they should hopefully be able to assist you. Slate Vesper (talk) 02:28, April 26, 2014 (UTC)

I'm here to remind you of Slate's casual warning, which seems to be one of several you have been given. And also one you seem to be ignoring. I have seen several people undoing your edits, many of which are so minor that they aren't needed, and I doubt that every person to undo your edits is wrong. You've also been adding the Initiates icon to several articles when it's hardly necessary, even though Stormbeast has assured me that he has told you to stop. Like Slate, I understand that you only want to help, but it seems to me that you've been ignoring the advice of other editors. Believe me, that doesn't always end well. In summary, please put a little more thought into your edits, and feel free to ask an active and/or senior user for help - you could even ask me, I have been here for a while, after all. --Crimson Knight _Intercom 16:42, May 4, 2014 (UTC)
