Yasiriyah was a subdistrict of Abbasiyah in Baghdad, located west of the Suburb of Kahtabah and north of Haylanah. During the Islamic Golden Age, it housed the famous House of Wisdom, a massive library and intellectual center that was home to many scholars from across the Caliphate.[1]
