Ashildr was an Anglo-Saxon child who lived in East Anglia, England during the 9th century.
When Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan traveled to East Anglia to investigate the death of a number of cattle, the Viking met with Abbess Wulfhilda. During her investigation of the murdered cattle, she spoke with Ashildr and her friend Cedl who witnessed a "jötunn" killing the cattle.[1]
