Shay Cormac's fleet was a formation of ships captured in the north Atlantic Ocean during the Seven Years' War and captained by the Colonial Templar Shay Cormac. They were sent on various missions across the world, often aiding the British Empire during the war. At its height, the fleet consisted of 15 ships of different types, not including Shay's sloop-of-war Morrigan. While it was impossible for Shay to obtain Royal Navy ships through combat, he could capture those disabled by snow tornadoes in the Atlantic and add them to his fleet.

The fleet began operating in mid-1756 after Shay helped the British capture Fort La Croix. There, his quartermaster Christopher Gist discovered various maps and charts detailing French trade routes and suggested to Shay that they use them to help the Royal Navy and enrich themselves in the process.

Ships

The ships in the fleet vary in strength based on their type and level. Smaller ships like schooners and brigs generally attack faster but do less damage per attack and have less cargo space than larger ships like frigates and Men O' War. Gunboats are an even smaller class size than schooners, but they cannot be captured since they cannot be disabled without destroying them.
