Yanaon was one of the five settlements of French India.
During the Seven Years' War, the colony had fallen into British hands. Colonial Templar Shay Cormac sent spies to aid the Empire in their occupation, providing early warning of threats.[1] As the situation remained highly unstable, with the surrounding regions being "rife with intrigue", Shay sent additional spies to Yanaon, where they would be deployed to surrounding colonies and kingdoms.[2]
