Stockholm
Stockholm is the capital of Sweden.
History[edit | edit source]
Age of Liberty[edit | edit source]
In the early 18th century, an Assassin Brotherhood was based in the city, who founded the Swedish Levant Company as a cover for their operations. In 1748, the Swedish Brotherhood was requested by the Colonial Assassins' Mentor, Achilles Davenport, to build a brig to combat the Templars across the Atlantic Ocean. However, due to the presence of Templars at the city's shipyard, the Swedish Assassins were unable to do so and recommended that the French Brotherhood construct the ship instead.[1]
By the time of the Seven Years' War, the Kingdom of Sweden had lost much of its influence in the Baltic, but the Templar Order was still interested in using it as a strategic location to spy on the Kingdom of Russia. The Colonial Templar Shay Cormac provided fifteen spies to the Templars in Stockholm through his fleet, to keep Russia's plans under control.[2]
Modern times[edit | edit source]
In October 2016,[3] the Templar doctor Victoria Bibeau assisted the Assassin Griffin and a group of teenagers in pursuing the Instruments of the First Will member and Templar defector Isaiah to Sweden to recover the Trident of Eden. Victoria offered to purchase airplane tickets for a commercial flight but stated that flying straight into Stockholm was too dangerous, so she instead suggested Västerås as the group's destination.[4]
