Sharqiyah

Sharqiyah was the harbor region of Karkh in Baghdad, located east of the suburbs of Tabik and the Fief of Rayasanah. At the height of the Abbasid Caliphate's Golden Age, the district served as the stronghold of the Turkic Army, commanded by Wasif al-Turki.

During the 860s, the Hidden Ones had a bureau in Sharqiyah, which they used to track the Order of the Ancients members Al-Mardikhwar, Al-A'eshma, and Al-Rukh.[1]
