Ohthere was a Norse navigator and explorer.[1]
He is known for having recounted many of his trips to King Alfred of Wessex in 890, providing the Christian world with more knowledge of the North and its people.[1] Ohthere was also, at one point, acquainted with both Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan and the Hidden One Hytham, teaching the latter skills about seafaring.[2]
