―Advertisement[src]

Helix Rift Events are periodical events in the 2018 Abstergo Entertainment product Rebellion. Set in time periods and places outside of the main game, the events are used to introduce new characters, gear, and bonuses based on the earned Data Nodes via synchronization.[1]

Alleged to be the memories of people who lived through them, the Helix Rift Events are Abstergo's tours and challenges related to time periods and places outside of Rebellion's main setting of late 15th-century Spain.[1] Through the use of Rifts in the Helix simulation, numerous environments were made available to players over the years, including Classical Greece during the 5th century BCE,[2][3][4] 15th-century Florence during the Renaissance,[5] Ptolemaic Egypt in the 1st century BCE,[6] Acre during the Third Crusade in 1191,[7] the Caribbean Sea during the Golden Age of Piracy in the early 18th century,[8] and Scandinavia during the Viking Age in the 9th century.[9]
