Casas-Ibáñez is a city in central Spain.

Around 1489, the Spanish Brotherhood of Assassins struck against the Spanish Inquisition's finances in Murcia by killing their corrupt merchant associate. While searching his accounting books, they found numerous payments made to a scribe living in Casas-Ibáñez.[1] The Assassins then went to Casas-Ibáñez, killed the scribe, and retrieved his journal.[2]
