Brothers of the Cross

The Brothers of the Cross were a secret Templar organization traveling across Germany promising protection from the Black Death in the mid-14th century. The German Assassin Lukas Zurburg suspected that they were after the Ankh, a Piece of Eden rumored to be lost somewhere in Central Europe that could purportedly heal the sick and raise the dead. In 1350, the Brothers of the Cross vanished mysteriously, and Lukas and the Ankh were never seen again.[1]
