Bahlam was a Maya Mentor of the West Indies Brotherhood of Assassins, and the father of Ah Tabai.[1]
Biography[edit | edit source]
In 1673, Bahlam secured the Sage Thomas Kavanagh, Jr. from Peter Beckford's estate in Jamaica, preventing him from falling under Laureano Torres y Ayala's Templar influence.[2] He then brought Kavanagh to the safety of the Assassin compound in Tulum, and helped the Sage prepare for his journey to the Observatory several days later.[3]
By 1713, Bahlam had passed away, being succeeded as Mentor of the West Indies Assassins by his son.[1][4]
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
"Bahlam" is a variant transliteration of the Mayan word meaning "jaguar".[5]
Appearances[edit | edit source]
