Segovia is a city in the autonomous community of Castile and León in Spain.
In 1495, the Spanish and Ottoman Assassins travelled to Segovia to infiltrate an Inquisition castle, where Niccolò Polo's journal was believed to be kept.[1] When they arrived, the Assassins fell into a trap set by the Inquisitors, who had sold the journal to the Templars,[2] but managed to fight their way out.[3]
