Clinique des Rameaux

The Clinique des Rameaux (English: Clinic of the Branches) was a Swiss medical clinic located near Lake Léman that specialized in treating patients with brain-related injuries and conditions. It was run by Dr. Nathalie Chapman.

History[edit | edit source]

In October 2017, the Assassin Tomo Sakagawa went undercover at the clinic posing as "Dr. Florent Carpentier" to search for the whereabouts of the Templar Maxime Gorm. It was there that he met the amnesiac patient Elisa Adler, admitted under the alias "Elisa Bouvyer". Within the month, he learned Elisa's true identity and informed his mentor, Hajime Shimada. However, he was caught by Chapman, who revealed her knowledge of his true identity and her own ties to the Brotherhood.[1]

Temporarily working together, Tomo and Chapman reached an arrangement, where the former used Chapman's Animus Omega to relive Alekseï Gavrani's memories and learn more about Boris Pash's life; in exchange, Nathalie would help him look for Gorm.[1] However, Tomo eventually discovered Chapman's true plans to restart Project BLUEBIRD, Pash's lifework, and that she had been experimenting on her patients with the Animus and an Apple of Eden in an attempt to implant them with the memories of long-dead Assassins. He informed Hajime while Chapman shut down the clinic and relocated to the Swiss Alps to escape from the Assassins.[2]
