By 2017, Jasdip, disillusioned with the Assassin cause, defected to the Instruments of the First Will, a cult venerating Juno, and fought against his former Brothers. He again sought to find the Koh-i-Noor, this time to further Juno's plans, and though he ultimately succeeded in securing the diamond, he was killed not long after during an attack on the Instruments' base in Australia.

Taking him to a safehouse, Jasdip questioned Jot on the location of the Koh-i-Noor, informing the test programmer that the Templars were combing India for individuals linked to the diamond. As their captive was unable to answer, they forced Jot to relive his memories through the Brahman device. However, it soon became clear to Siobhan that Jot had lied to her, with his ancestry possessing no trace of either Arbaaz Mir's or Maharaja Ranjit Singh's bloodlines.

Soon after, Abstergo operatives launched an attack on the safehouse, with the less combat-experienced Siobhan being killed in the ensuing battle. Jasdip fought off the first group of assailants, following which he cut off one of his sister's fingers to preserve her DNA for the Brotherhood. He and Jot then fled to the roof of the building, where they decided to rappel down the side of the building together; as Jasdip did so, he remotely triggered Siobhan's Hidden Blade to detonate.

The resulting explosion wiped out their pursuers, but also caused Jot, who had been hanging onto Jasdip, to lose his grip and fall down into the slums. Separated from each other by the blast, the Assassin tracked down Jot, who had managed to reunite with his fiancée Monima Das, though the pair was kidnapped shortly thereafter by Abstergo agents. ===Joining the Instruments===
In 2015, Jasdip received a worldwide directive from Bishop, ordering all Assassins to search for Álvaro Gramática. While making no success in his search, Jasdip passed along his concerns to Bishop regarding her use of the Initiates, reminding that they are still civilians and he knew all too well what happens when civilians get drawn into the Assassin-Templar conflict.

Jasdip was later sent to Australia to search for an Abstergo facility connected to the Phoenix Project, but mysteriously went dark. Unbeknownst to the Assassins, during his mission, Jasdip somehow came into contact with Juno, who convinced him to become her "blade" and defect to the Instruments of the First Will. Jasdip then quickly rose in the Instruments' ranks, becoming a lieutenant of Juno alongside Violet da Costa.

Conflict with the Assassins
In February 2017, Jasdip led an Instruments strike team to Hong Kong to ambush Barindra Mitra's Assassin cell, who were investigating an abandoned Abstergo office to collect intel about the Phoenix Project. All the Assassins were killed, with the exception of Charlotte de la Cruz, who jumped through a window. As the Assassin fled in a van with Guernica Moneo, Jasdip also jumped from the building and chased them, fighting Charlotte inside the speeding vehicle.

During their brawl, Moneo, who was driving, was hit by a shuriken launched by another Instrument and lost control of the van. After it crashed, Charlotte attempted to interrogate Jasdip but had to flee before she could obtain any answers when Moneo fell unconscious due to his injuries and the authorities arrived on the scene.

Later, as Kiyoshi Takakura and Arend Schut-Cunningham infiltrated Abstergo Entertainment's Montreal campus to kidnap the Animus specialist Felix Oladele, they were ambushed by Jasdip. After dispatching several Abstergo guards, the two Assassins entered Oladele's office, only to discover Jasdip holding his severed head. A fight ensued, during which Jasdip seriously injured Kiyoshi's neck and threw Arend through a window, leaving him dangling from the edge. As the Instrument was about to finish off Arend, he was shot in the back by Kiyoshi and fell from the cleaner's mobile he was standing on.

Encounter with Berg
Jasdip survived the fall and went to Geneva, where the Assassin My'shell Lemair and the Templar Juhani Otso Berg were investigating irregularities in the accounts of their respective Orders. As My'shell was taken at knife point by Berg to the backstairs of the bank in order to interrogate her, the Templar sensed that they were observed. He knocked down the Assassin and fought off the Instruments who suddenly appeared, managing to kill five of them with his bare hands before he collapsed. Berg was then slapped around by Jasdip, who claimed that it was an honor to watch the Templar in action and reminded him of how his men had killed his sister four years prior.

Jasdip revealed that, while he once sought revenge against Berg, Juno had offered him a new purpose of helping her restore order to the world. After claiming that the past was no longer relevant, the Instrument ordered Berg to end his investigation or else his daughter would be killed. He then threw the Templar over a guard rail, seriously injuring him but leaving him alive, as he had been ordered to do.

Later, back at the Instruments' headquarters, Violet and Jasdip argued over how brutally the latter had treated Berg, as Violet believed that the Templar could be convinced to join them. Jasdip countered that she was overstepping her bounds and that it was not her place to decide who would live to see Eden reborn. At that moment, Juno appeared on a monitor and revealed that she had discovered the Koh-i-Noor's location in Spain from Charlotte de la Cruz's memories. Jasdip then guided the young Sage Elijah to a crowd of Instruments, where he informed the cheering cultists of their mistress' success.

Mission to Spain
With the location of the Koh-i-Noor known, Jasdip sent three teams of Instruments to scour the Spanish countryside in search of the artifact. One of the agents he dispatched was Stephen Heggenes, a young Instrument who looked up to Jasdip and begged him to teach him the Leap of Faith. However, after several months passed, the Instruments received no word from the teams, and all the agents, including Stephen, were presumed dead.

In August 2018, Jasdip snuck into the apartment of Berg's ally André Bolden and took the old man hostage. He then stood nearby as Bolden was called by Berg, who gave him the location of Álvaro Gramática's secret lab in Australia so he could keep an eye out for any Instruments. With this information, Jasdip, still holding Bolden hostage, traveled to the laboratory alongside the other Instruments and promptly took over the facility.

Following this, Jasdip personally led a strike team to Spain to recover the Koh-i-Noor, where he encountered the elderly Miguel and a woman, nomads whom he quickly apprehended and interrogated about the fate of the previous teams. As he was interrogating Miguel, Jasdip's men found and captured Kiyoshi and Arend, who were hiding nearby. After greeting the Assassins, Jasdip resumed his interrogation, and Miguel soon revealed that he and the other nomads had been trained by Ignacio Cardona and Albert Bolden to protect the Koh-i-Noor, killing anyone who came looking for the Piece of Eden.

Understanding that Miguel and his partner were responsible for the deaths of Stephen and the other Instruments, Jasdip began torturing the nomad by tearing off his fingernails. When Arend cut in, damning Jasdip for torturing an old man, the Instrument replied that he was not torturing Miguel but rather the Assassins, threatening Arend and Kiyoshi with more of the sight if they did not reveal where Charlotte, Galina Voronina, and Berg were.

At that moment, one of Jasdip's men revealed that their drone had spotted the trio excavating a mass grave nearby. Realizing they must have found the Koh-i-Noor, Jasdip led the Instruments to retrieve the gem, bringing their captives along. Just as Charlotte, Galina, and Berg unearthed the Koh-i-Noor, the Instruments surrounded them, but the Assassins managed to turn the situation in their favor when Kiyoshi used his Razor-Wire gauntlet to sever the arms of the Instruments holding him. A fight broke out, during which Jasdip attacked Arend with his Hidden Blade, spouting his Instruments philosophy until Charlotte used the Koh-i-Noor to create a massive explosion.

With Charlotte suspended in the air creating illusions, Jasdip launched himself at her, tackling her to retrieve the Koh-i-Noor and capturing the weakened Assassin. He then called in a helicopter which began raining mortar fire on their position, cutting them off from their assailants. Knowing Charlotte's bloodline might interest Juno, Jasdip prepared to escape with both her and the Koh-i-Noor. However, before they could board the helicopter,  Miguel emerged from the fire and attacked Jasdip in order to retrieve the artifact.

Jasdip released Charlotte and the gem and fought Miguel, ultimately severing his head in two with his Hidden Blade. Miguel's distraction allowed Charlotte to grab and activate the Koh-i-Noor, only for Jasdip to promptly steal the artifact back. Just as the Instrument was about to kill Charlotte, Berg threw his Templar pin at him, stabbing him in the cheek. The injury forced Jasdip to release Charlotte and, after briefly mocking Berg and Galina for their desperation, he boarded the helicopter and escaped.

In 2017, Jasdip was part of a mysterious group which ambushed Barindra Mitra's cell in Hong Kong, while the Assassins were breaking into an Abstergo Industries office in order to find intel about the Templars' Phoenix Project. All the Assassins were killed, with the exception of Charlotte de la Cruz who jumped through a window and was pursued by Dhami. As the Assassin fled in a van with the cell's technician, Guernica Moneo, Dhami also jumped into the vehicle and fought with de la Cruz. During their brawl, Moneo, who was driving, was hit by a shuriken launch by another Instrument who was on the roof and lost control of the van. After the crash, Dhami was interrogated by de la Cruz, but the Assassin had to flee before obtaining answers as Moneo fell uncounscious due to his injuries while the authorities were coming to the crash scene.
Death
Having successfully secured the Koh-i-Noor, Jasdip returned to the Australia facility and delivered the artifact to the Instruments. While Gramática created a new Isu body for Juno's consciousness to inhabit, Jasdip and the Instruments went to secure the perimeter around the laboratory, to ensure that nothing would disturb their mistress' resurrection.

Later, as Kiyoshi Takakura and Arend Schut Cunningham assaulted the campus of Abstergo Entertainment in Montreal to kidnap Felix Oladele, a specialist of the Animus, they were ambushed by Dhami. After dispatching several Abstergo guards, the two Assassins entered Oladele's office, only to discover Dhami holding his severed head. A fight ensued, during which Dhami seriously injured the Japanese to the neck and was about to finish Arend when Kiyoshi shot him in the back. Standing on a cleaner's mobile, Dhami then fell from the building.

When Berg approached the facility from the desert, seemingly all alone, Violet was the first to greet him, but the Templar saw through her ploy and noted the dozens of Instruments who were hiding behind a sandstorm. At that moment, Jasdip revealed himself and began walking towards Berg while gloating about Juno's inevitable rebirth. In response, the Templar simply told him that he should have remained hidden, at which point Jasdip was shot in the head with a sniper rifle by Galina, instantly killing him.

Dhami survived the fall and went to Geneva where the Assassin My'shell Lemair and the Templar Berg were investigating irregularities in the accounts of their respective Orders. As Lemair was taken at knife point by Berg to the backstairs of the Bank in order to interrogate her, the Templar sensed that they were observed. He knocked down the Assassin and fought off the Instruments who suddenly appeared, managing to kill five of them with his bare hands before he collapsed. Berg was then slapped around by Jasdip Dhami, whom revealed himself as a member of the fifth column that the Templar was tracking. To Berg who recognized him back from his mission in Mumbai, Dhami stated that he no longer cared about avenging his sister, only to serve his new "mistress". Before leaving with the rest of his men, Dhami warned Berg to stop his investigation, or risk his daughter's life, and threw the Templar plummeting over a guard rail.
Personality and traits
Unlike his sister, Jasdip was a fairly gruff individual that remained level-headed and focused on his mission at all times, eschewing sentimentality. This attitude led him to save Jot's life on multiple occasions, despite resenting the test programmer for lying about his heritage and indirectly causing Siobhan's demise. Still, Jasdip had little sympathy for Jot's grief over Monima's death, as it interfered with the Assassins' operations.

After joining the Instruments of the First Will, Jasdip became a fanatical lieutenant of Juno, entirely dedicated to resurrecting his mistress and ensuring the Isu's dominion over humanity. He believed that Juno had offered him a new purpose of restoring order to the world after the Assassins had failed him, and was completely ruthless in following her commands. He nearly killed Kiyoshi Takakura and Arend Schut-Cunningham during their fight in Montreal, savagely beat Juhani Otso Berg even when he was ordered to merely threaten him, and took no issue with torturing Miguel, an old man, simply because the sight disgusted the Assassins and was certain to make them talk.
Later, back in the Instruments' HQ, Violet and Jasdip argued over how Berg was treated, with Violet being angry that her friend had been harmed so brutally as she believed that in time Berg would join them. Jasdip countered, telling the Templar that she was overstepping and that it was only Juno's right to decide who was worthy to see Eden reborn. At this moment Juno appeared to her two lieutenants in an overhead monitor, stating that she had what she needed from Charlotte de la Cruz, having discovered that the Koh-i-Noor was last seen in Spain. Dhami then guided Desmond Miles' son to a crowd of waiting Instruments, where the two informed the cheering cultists of their mistress' success.

Personality and characteristics
As a member of the Instruments, Jasdip developed a god-complex, believing that he was one of the few worthy enough to follow Juno's will and live to see a New World Order. He expressed contempt towards those who did not serve Juno, seeing humanity as inherently flawed and believing that "true" order could only be imposed through the Isu's guidance. He was also overly confident in his own fighting skills, making quips even in the midst of combat. His enemies took notice of his arrogance, and eventually exploited this weakness by baiting him out to be killed unceremoniously, with a single bullet to the head.

"I used to think nothing is true, but I was wrong. There is but one radiant and soon to be self-evident truth in this world. Juno is."
―Jasdip Dhami, 2018.[src]-[m]

Jasdip "Jazz" Dhami (died 2018) was a member of the Indian Brotherhood of Assassins, and the brother of Siobhan Dhami. In 2013, the siblings were tasked with locating the Koh-i-Noor diamond, an Isu relic, but the mission ended in failure and resulted in Siobhan's death.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Early life[edit | edit source]

Born into a family that had been affiliated with the Assassins for generations, Jasdip and his sister Siobhan became loyal members of the Brotherhood. In contrast to his tech-oriented sister, Jasdip was a consummate biker with dreams of being a superstar.[2]

Search for the Koh-i-Noor[edit | edit source]

"You got yourself into this when you told Siobhan you were an Assassin. It turns out you're actually just a lying piece of shit."
―Jasdip to Jot Soora, 2013.[src]

In late 2013, Jasdip and his sister were tasked with finding the Koh-i-Noor, a Piece of Eden that had been hidden by the Assassin Arbaaz Mir in the 19th century. Their research eventually led the two to Jot Soora, a test programmer at MysoreTech that had told Siobhan he was the descendant of a Sikh Empire Assassin; however, he refused to make contact with Siobhan again afterwards. After procuring his Brahman V.R., the Dhami siblings followed Jot to Mumbai, where they coerced him into coming with them.[3]

Jasdip interrogating Jot

Taking him to a safehouse, Jasdip questioned Jot on the location of the Koh-i-Noor, informing the test programmer that the Templars were combing India for individuals linked to the diamond. As their captive was unable to answer, they forced Jot to relive his memories through the Brahman device. However, it soon became clear to Siobhan that Jot had lied to her, with his ancestry possessing no trace of either Arbaaz Mir's or Maharaja Ranjit Singh's bloodlines.[3]

He and Jot then fled to the roof of the building, where they decided to rappel down the side of the building together; as Jasdip did so, he remotely triggered Siobhan's Hidden Blade to detonate.[3]

Jasdip mounted a rescue attempt, jumping on the Templars' van and then hurling himself onto one of the escorts' motorbikes.[3]

After taking out the escorts, Jasdip shot one of the van's tires, causing the driver to lose control and crash through the highway's safety barrier, plunging the vehicle into the Mithi River. Diving after it, the Assassin managed to free Jot, but Monima remained trapped in the sinking van and perished in the Bay of Mumbai. Jasdip then brought Jot to another Assassin safehouse hidden in the Chor Bazaar, where he reported on the failure of his mission to Dinesh.[3]

Jasdip threatening Jot

While Jasdip and Dinesh debated on what to do next, Jot began playing a recording of Monima, which led the two Assassins to discover that she had been a descendant of Princess Pyara Kaur, whose memories revealed the whereabouts of the Koh-i-Noor. As Dinesh copied the genetic data and searched for a way to wipe it off the Abstergo Cloud, Jasdip prepared for the incoming assault of Abstergo operatives.[3]

When the Templars launched their attack, Dinesh was killed immediately, leaving Jot to flee while Jasdip bought him time.[3] After taking out several assailants, Jasdip also made his escape.[4]

Joining the Instruments[edit | edit source]

"Jasdip went dark after he was sent to Australia to look for a Phoenix Project lab, Arend. Maybe Juno got to him..."
―Kiyoshi Takakura, regarding Jasdip's disappearance, 2017.[src]-[m]

In 2015, Jasdip received a worldwide directive from Bishop, ordering all Assassins to search for Dr. Álvaro Gramática. While finding no success in his search, Jasdip passed along his concerns to Bishop regarding her use of the Initiates, reminding her that they were still civilians and he knew all too well what happened when civilians were drawn into the Assassin-Templar conflict.[5]

Jasdip was later sent to Australia to search for an Abstergo facility connected to the Phoenix Project, but mysteriously went dark. Unbeknownst to the Assassins, during his mission, Jasdip somehow came into contact with Juno, who convinced him to become her "blade" and defect to the Instruments of the First Will.[6] Jasdip then quickly rose in the Instruments' ranks, becoming a lieutenant of Juno alongside Violet da Costa.[7]

Conflict with the Assassins[edit | edit source]

Arend: "Lose the hardware and fight me, huh?! What makes you so great?"
Jasdip: "The gods."
—Jasdip and Arend Schut-Cunningham during their fight, 2017.[src]-[m]

In February 2017, Jasdip led an Instruments strike team to Hong Kong to ambush Barindra Mitra's Assassin cell, who were investigating an abandoned Abstergo office to collect intel about the Phoenix Project. All the Assassins were killed, with the exception of Charlotte de la Cruz, who jumped through a window. As the Assassin fled in a van with Guernica Moneo, Jasdip also jumped from the building and chased them, fighting Charlotte inside the speeding vehicle.[8]

Jasdip attacking Charlotte

During their brawl, Moneo, who was driving, was hit by a shuriken launched by another Instrument and lost control of the van. After it crashed, Charlotte attempted to interrogate Jasdip but had to flee before she could obtain any answers when Moneo fell unconscious due to his injuries and the authorities arrived on the scene.[8]

As the Instrument was about to finish off Arend, he was shot in the back by Kiyoshi and fell from the cleaner's mobile he was standing on.[9]

Encounter with Berg[edit | edit source]

"Your strike team killed my sister. I swore revenge, you know. Dreamed of having you in front of me like this. But now I dream her dreams. The past—our past—is meaningless."
―Jasdip to Juhani Otso Berg, 2017.[src]-[m]

Jasdip survived the fall and went to Geneva, where the Assassin My'shell Lemair and the Templar Juhani Otso Berg were investigating irregularities in the accounts of their respective Orders. As My'shell was taken at knife point by Berg to the backstairs of the bank in order to interrogate her, the Templar sensed that they were observed. He knocked down the Assassin and fought off the Instruments who suddenly appeared, managing to kill five of them with his bare hands before he collapsed. Berg was then slapped around by Jasdip, who claimed that it was an honor to watch the Templar in action and reminded him of how his men had killed his sister four years prior.[7]

Jasdip revealed that, while he once sought revenge against Berg, Juno had offered him a new purpose of helping her restore order to the world. After claiming that the past was no longer relevant, the Instrument ordered Berg to end his investigation or else his daughter would be killed. He then threw the Templar over a guard rail, seriously injuring him but leaving him alive, as he had been ordered to do.[7]

Jasdip with Elijah before the Instruments

Later, back at the Instruments' headquarters, Violet and Jasdip argued over how brutally the latter had treated Berg, as Violet believed that the Templar could be convinced to join them. Jasdip countered that she was overstepping her bounds and that it was not her place to decide who would live to see Eden reborn. At that moment, Juno appeared on a monitor and revealed that she had discovered the Koh-i-Noor's location in Spain from Charlotte de la Cruz's memories. Jasdip then guided the young Sage Elijah to a crowd of Instruments, where he informed the cheering cultists of their mistress' success.[7]

Mission to Spain[edit | edit source]

Arend: "Jasdip, what happened to you? You're torturing an old man, you fuck!"
Jasdip: "I'm not torturing him, Schut... I'm torturing you."
—Jasdip to a captive Arend, 2018.[src]-[m]

With the location of the Koh-i-Noor known, Jasdip sent three teams of Instruments to scour the Spanish countryside in search of the artifact. One of the agents he dispatched was Stephen Heggenes, a young Instrument who looked up to Jasdip and begged him to teach him the Leap of Faith. However, after several months passed, the Instruments received no word from the teams, and all the agents, including Stephen, were presumed dead.[10]

In August 2018,[11] Jasdip snuck into the apartment of Berg's ally André Bolden and took the old man hostage. He then stood nearby as Bolden was called by Berg, who gave him the location of Álvaro Gramática's secret lab in Australia so he could keep an eye out for any Instruments. With this information, Jasdip, still holding Bolden hostage, traveled to the laboratory alongside the other Instruments and promptly took over the facility.[12]

Jasdip arriving in Spain

Following this, Jasdip personally led a strike team to Spain to recover the Koh-i-Noor, where he encountered the elderly Miguel and a woman, nomads whom he quickly apprehended and interrogated about the fate of the previous teams. As he was interrogating Miguel, Jasdip's men found and captured Kiyoshi and Arend, who were hiding nearby. After greeting the Assassins, Jasdip resumed his interrogation, and Miguel soon revealed that he and the other nomads had been trained by Ignacio Cardona and Albert Bolden to protect the Koh-i-Noor, killing anyone who came looking for the Piece of Eden.[10]

Understanding that Miguel and his partner were responsible for the deaths of Stephen and the other Instruments, Jasdip began torturing the nomad by tearing off his fingernails. When Arend cut in, damning Jasdip for torturing an old man, the Instrument replied that he was not torturing Miguel but rather the Assassins, threatening Arend and Kiyoshi with more of the sight if they did not reveal where Charlotte, Galina Voronina, and Berg were.[10]

A fight broke out, during which Jasdip attacked Arend with his Hidden Blade, spouting his Instruments philosophy until Charlotte used the Koh-i-Noor to create a massive explosion.[10]

Jasdip killing Miguel

With Charlotte suspended in the air creating illusions, Jasdip launched himself at her, tackling her to retrieve the Koh-i-Noor and capturing the weakened Assassin. He then called in a helicopter which began raining mortar fire on their position, cutting them off from their assailants. Knowing Charlotte's bloodline might interest Juno, Jasdip prepared to escape with both her and the Koh-i-Noor. However, before they could board the helicopter, Miguel emerged from the fire and attacked Jasdip in order to retrieve the artifact.[13]

The injury forced Jasdip to release Charlotte and, after briefly mocking Berg and Galina for their desperation, he boarded the helicopter and escaped.[13]

Death[edit | edit source]

Jasdip: "She's coming. We all have to step out of the shadows and reveal ourselves now... in preparation for judgement."
Berg: "You really should have stayed in the shadows, Dhami."
—Jasdip and Berg, moments before the former's death, 2018.[src]-[m]

Having successfully secured the Koh-i-Noor, Jasdip returned to the Australia facility and delivered the artifact to the Instruments. While Gramática created a new Isu body for Juno's consciousness to inhabit, Jasdip and the Instruments went to secure the perimeter around the laboratory, to ensure that nothing would disturb their mistress' resurrection.[1]

Jasdip sniped by Galina

When Berg approached the facility from the desert, seemingly all alone, Violet was the first to greet him, but the Templar saw through her ploy and noted the dozens of Instruments who were hiding behind a sandstorm. At that moment, Jasdip revealed himself and began walking towards Berg while gloating about Juno's inevitable rebirth. In response, the Templar simply told him that he should have remained hidden, at which point Jasdip was shot in the head with a sniper rifle by Galina, instantly killing him.[1]

Personality and traits[edit | edit source]

"Fuck him. We don't have time for this. We've all lost people today."
―Jasdip expressing his frustration at Jot's grief over losing Monima, 2013.[src]

Still, Jasdip had little sympathy for Jot's grief over Monima's death, as it interfered with the Assassins' operations.[3]

After joining the Instruments of the First Will, Jasdip became a fanatical lieutenant of Juno, entirely dedicated to resurrecting his mistress and ensuring the Isu's dominion over humanity. He believed that Juno had offered him a new purpose of restoring order to the world after the Assassins had failed him, and was completely ruthless in following her commands.[7] He nearly killed Kiyoshi Takakura and Arend Schut-Cunningham during their fight in Montreal,[9] savagely beat Juhani Otso Berg even when he was ordered to merely threaten him,[7] and took no issue with torturing Miguel, an old man, simply because the sight disgusted the Assassins and was certain to make them talk.[10]

As a member of the Instruments, Jasdip developed a god-complex, believing that he was one of the few worthy enough to follow Juno's will and live to see a New World Order. He expressed contempt towards those who did not serve Juno, seeing humanity as inherently flawed and believing that "true" order could only be imposed through the Isu's guidance.[7] He was also overly confident in his own fighting skills, making quips even in the midst of combat.[13] His enemies took notice of his arrogance, and eventually exploited this weakness by baiting him out to be killed unceremoniously, with a single bullet to the head.[1]

Skills and equipment[edit | edit source]

Jasdip fighting Abstergo soldiers

An action-oriented Assassin, Jasdip was well-versed in the art of close combat, being able to take out several heavily-armed Abstergo operatives by himself through the use of acrobatics and brute strength as well as hold his own against Arend Schut Cunningham in unarmed combat. Jasdip was capable of throwing knifes. As well as this, he was skilled in the use of firearms and could drive a motorcycle He also appeared to be very physically strong lifting Juhani Otso Berg above his head only day's after sustaining multiple gun shots.[3]

Jasdip also possessed a Hidden Blade, but seemed to prefer other tactics in combat as he scarcely used it. His Assassin gear was referred to as a "slip-suit", a sleeveless white outfit that was meant to give him a stealth advantage, though the Templars could combat this with advanced optics. Usually, Jasdip wore a hooded combat vest over it for better protection.[3]

As a member of the Instruments of the First Will, Jasdip uses a suit of "GM spider silk body armor" from Abstergo capable of withstanding three point-blank gunshots and falling multiple stories with minimal damage.[9]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

 • Jasdip is mainly a Sikh name which comes from Guru Granth Sahib, meaning "light of the lord's glory". The more common pan-Indian name "Yashdeep" is its cognate; both names ultimately derive from the Sanskrit words yasha, meaning "fame, glory", and deep, meaning "light".
 • In Assassin's Creed: Rogue, Jasdip is incorrectly referred to as "Jhadsip" by Juhani Otso Berg.
 • Although a body wearing similar clothes to Jasdip can be seen lying at Berg's feet at the end of Assassin's Creed: Brahman, an audio file in Assassin's Creed: Rogue confirmed that he managed to survive the attack and escape.
