The War Spear was a spear mainly used in conflicts fought in the 5th century BCE Greece. Earning its name with the variety it offered its wielder, the spear was deadly in the right hands.
During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra commonly found this weapon in the inventories of blacksmiths and looted it from bodies and chests during her travels throughout Greece.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
The War Spear, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, shares the same model as a number of other similar weapons in the same game, including Nanno's Toothpick and the Swordfish Spear. These are all the recycled model of Cyrene's Spear, a weapon in Assassin's Creed: Origins.
