Valley of the Nobles

The Valley of the Nobles is a series of tombs in the Theban Necropolis, located south of the Valley of the Kings. As its name suggests, it houses the remains of various Egyptian officials and nobles who served in the royal court. Examples included Amenhotep called Huy and Qen, who both served during the Eighteenth Dynasty.

In the 1st century BCE, bandits had desecrated and looted the valley, with some taking valuables to a necropolis camp. In 38 BCE, the Hidden One Bayek of Siwa visited the valley, witnessing the bandits' desecration. He eliminated some of the bandits at the camp and looted their valuables.[1]
