- You failed to source File:Those who came before.jpg. Please fix that. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 07:48, April 27, 2012 (UTC)
- It's a screenshot of the Abstergo Dossiers, so the only source I could give would be: "Assassin's Creed: Revelations" Arcemz 09:47, April 27, 2012 (UTC)
- Well then do that. You didn't source it at all so by all rights, it should have been deleted. You've been told about sourcing images before and you should know by now that, as policy, it is mandatory. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 12:41, April 27, 2012 (UTC)

Rope dart image.[edit source]
Where did you get the picture of the rope dart? Is it official? RussellSparrow 00:38, April 18, 2012 (UTC)
It was on this video:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TaPvDUzdShM. I'm not sure whether it was official or not, but the part on the rope dart matched the design and layout from the other weapons shown in the Connor's Weapons trailer. Arcemz 01:27, April 18, 2012 (UTC)Arcemz

The questions in your "About Me"[edit source]
You ask some good questions Arcemz. But you forgot the chicken and the egg :) Eaglewulf23 00:26, April 21, 2012 (UTC)
What do you mean? Arcemz 00:29, April 21, 2012 (UTC)Arcemz
I meant as to which one came first, the chicken or the egg. An egg comes from a chicken, but the chicken comes from an egg. So at the begining of time, which one came first, and why? Anyway, I also meant to ask you, what's the code for the userbox about the Black Room? And congrats on becoming an Apprentice. Eaglewulf23 20:54, April 28, 2012 (UTC)
Oh, I see. I'm not sure, that's tricky. Maybe the chicken evolved from another species? The theory of evolution is true for the First Civilization, so it must be for other species.
The code for the Black Room userbox is: "BlackRoom" and thanks for the congrats :) Arcemz 21:04, April 28, 2012 (UTC)
Thanks Arcemz :) Eaglewulf23 00:05, April 29, 2012 (UTC)

Apprenticeship[edit source]
Hello, Arcemz, this is DarkFeather, one of the Istruttore on the Wiki. Blaidd asked me to start your Apprenticeship and act as your Mentor, so here I am. If you could, please, stop by the IRC sometime between six and midnight US Central Standard Time so we can have a little chat about expectations, assignments, contact methods, and such. Thanks for your interest in the Apprenticeship, and I look forward to working with you.
DarkFeather Raven's NestRaven's Hunt 04:50, May 22, 2012 (UTC)
Hey DarkFeather, thanks for choosing me as your Apprentice, it is an honour to have you as my Mentor :). I would love to chat with you as soon as possible, but I live in Australia, and between 6 and midnight is basically between 9 a.m. and 3.p.m here, and my school hours are from 8 a.m. to 3.p.m, so I may be late coming to the IRC. Unfortunately though I'm writing this on Tuesday afternoon, and tomorrow afterschool I have rugby training until 4p.m., so I don't think I can get on the IRC until Thursday afterschool, maybe around 3:30 p.m to 9:30 p.m. (Australian Eastern Standard Time). So for you, that would be between 12:30 a.m and 6:30 a.m. (US Central Standard Time). Or, if you want, we can wait until the weekend where I can be on the IRC between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m., which for you is between 6 and midnight (US Central Standard Time). Sorry about the troubles, and I hope we can work it out. Ultimately though, I do look forward to starting my Apprenticeship. Thanks! Arcemz Something on your mind? 06:22, May 22, 2012 (UTC)
- Not a problem. We'll just end up having to meet up Saturdays and use talkpages elsewise. Why don't we meet on the weekend sometime, go over things, and get you started?
- DarkFeather Raven's NestRaven's Hunt 21:46, May 23, 2012 (UTC)
Oh, small note: leave notes on talkpages. We try to use coops and progress logs as tracking logs with minimal background dialog. No harm, no foul :) DarkFeather Raven's NestRaven's Hunt 06:22, May 27, 2012 (UTC)

- Yo, so I checked my talkpage and saw my message didn't get put. Seems I'm going to have to double-check my edits on the Wiki for a while to make sure they get here >.<' Anyways, the dialog I mentioned can be seen on A Warm Welcome, as can thumb images. Thumb is a tag into Wiki images that adds a border and allows a caption along with upload data. The dialog is a format we use, so try to model it there. I'll try to make sure my messages are there for you in the future -- sorry for the rocky start. Maybe we can catch up this weekend again. DarkFeather Raven's NestRaven's Hunt 02:38, June 1, 2012 (UTC)
- Alright, thanks for the info :). I'll probably be on the IRC from 9 a.m. onwards on Sunday (which I believe is from 6 p.m. onwards on Saturday in America), so that will be the best time to meet.
- So far though I've finished the dialog section, by modeling it with the dialogue seen in A Warm Welcome. Just not sure what images are thumbs in that article - are they the Gallery images or the ones in the article itself?
- Arcemz Something on your mind? 06:09, June 1, 2012 (UTC)
- Looking good, and I'm looking forward to catching up again. Thumbs are just the images in the article. A note: no using "you". But, you've made good time and good progress :) You're doing quite well. DarkFeather Raven's NestRaven's Hunt 03:29, June 2, 2012 (UTC)

Hey Arcemz, I notice that every time you sign a post in forums and talkpages, your signature picture is shown in the WikiActivity...so instead of using [[File:ArcemzSig.png|link=User:Arcemz|100px]] for your signature, why don't replace the code with the following:

Next assignment[edit source]
Romagna and Smoke screen bombs need a major expansion, and Bonfire of the Vanities (DLC) needs a revamp. I'm sure you can predict the rules for this one, but I'll do the writeup later. Enjoy and good hunting, Apprentice. DarkFeather Raven's NestRaven's Hunt 02:14, August 16, 2012 (UTC)
Romagna[edit source]
Arc, I would add all the events from the Battle of Forlì, as they all occurred in Romagna. You could make two subsections, one for description of the region and one for the history of the region, and fill each out with as much description as you can. That should make the article nicely laid out and detailed, while also adding some space for some more images (perhaps one of the wharfs if you can find one already on the Wiki?). The progress is promising, though -- you're doing well. Sorry I didn't have time to add this review last night, but I hope this helps. DarkFeather Raven's NestRaven's Hunt 19:45, September 6, 2012 (UTC)

Food for Thought on Liberation and Secret Crusade[edit source]
Secret Crusade[edit source]
- Just in case this was still a project of yours that we need to finish up ;)
- Intro is still present tense when it needs to be past.
- The book quote summary should probably have an in-text citation as well as the end-of-page reference. If you put the reference in code markup as below, it will create a quote-like format for the text.
: <i>Example</i>
- Example
- You could consider tabberizing the chapters in sets of ten.
- Try to avoid ending sentences in prepositions (this is just for grammar's sake), so instead of "to impart his stories to" you could use "as the recipient of his knowledge". Just a thought.
- "Retreated back" is a bit redundant -- "retreated" should work
- Check for comma splices like the last sentence of 3's first paragraph.
- "However" should be surrounded by commas when used in the middle of a sentence.
- 23's last sentence is awkwardly worded / punctuated.
- 53's first sentence has a semicolon where a colon is needed.
Liberation[edit source]
- Like SC's intro, the article is in present tense where past is needed.
- The infobox's media could refer to how the game is loaded into the Vita, if you want.
- The wording is much better here than in SC -- a quick pass for comma splices and ending prepositions, and it should be grammatically in order
- References and gallery look good.
Hi[edit source]
Hello, it's my understanding that you are the user who is reworking the AC3: Liberation article. I would just like to point out a concern, it would appear that the game doesn't span to 1780 but 1777... according to walkthroughs. Could you look into this? Supreme Master AssassinO Mentoras 05:46, December 17, 2012 (UTC)
Hmm, that statement about being spanned from 1765 to 1780 was written there before I begun reworking the article, probably added before the game's release and based on online information. However, you are right, as after checking the database in-game, Madeleine did actually die in 1777, which happened at the very end of the game. I'll quickly change it. Thanks for letting me know. <choose><option>http://images.wikia.com/assassinscreed/images/7/7f/ArcemzSig.png</option></choose>

Removing images[edit source]
Hi Arc, next time you remove an entire concept art section from an article could you inform me (if I was the uploader). The gallery in question is the Assassin's Creed III: Liberation concept section of the gallery tab. Cheers. ► Kaloneous ◄ ♣HelpDesk♣ 15:55, December 23, 2012 (UTC)
Will do, Kal. But I had only moved one image from the gallery to the plot section and replaced the space left with another concept art. What do you mean by removing an entire section? <choose><option>http://images.wikia.com/assassinscreed/images/7/7f/ArcemzSig.png</option></choose>
I meant the artist in question, anyways it isn't a major deal but you know the rate at which the photo section increases so I'd hate to lose track of the artwork as I'm waiting on permission to write the guys article. ► Kaloneous ◄ ♣HelpDesk♣ 05:35, December 27, 2012 (UTC)

Ah, my apologies. I didn't realize it was actually somebody changing the colour, I thought the template was actually reverting itself to an earlier colour I tested. Will stop from now on.

Just FYI...[edit source]
So, there's been some confusion about your assignment. I'm copying you on what I sent War and Nesty, so you know what was said. If there are problems, let me know. Thanks.
Alrighty, got your message. I went over this with some people last night, but the assignment was never intended to lock up Liberation on the Wiki. Arc's job is to ensure the Wiki has all the information about Liberation up on the Wiki as his capstone project. This means he needs to make sure existing articles are accurate and missing ones are added -- he knows other users may be contributing and should be posting his revamp template on the ones he is creating. So, this shouldn't keep you and War from posting memories -- by all means feel free to. Arc just can't work directly with the two of you on the creation of individual pages, as this is one of his assignments. If this doesn't make sense, please let me know. I'm copying War on this and sending a copy to Arc, so that everyone knows what's going on. Thanks for letting me know about the confusion. - MMkay I'm prodding a bit here, but how's the portal finishing touches coming? DarkFeather Raven's NestRaven's Hunt 02:59, August 2, 2013 (UTC)
Almost there. You can check my Sandbox to see the portal. I'm back at school now but before the holidays finished I did do some rearranging of the images in gimp and uploaded them again. They are still a bit wonky and titled in places, so I'll fix that up over the weekend. I must apologise for my absence though, I've been quite preoccupied with other things these past couple weeks but I'm finishing that up now so I'll return focus to the Wiki and get this project done. I realise I've sort of drawn this project out quite long, and I'm not going to lie, I've been procrastinating a bit since I'm not really much good at this type of work... but I will finish. And thank you for being patient with me, I really appreciate it. <choose><option>http://images.wikia.com/assassinscreed/images/7/7f/ArcemzSig.png</option></choose> 08:49, August 2, 2013 (UTC)

Murder Mysteries[edit source]
Hey Arc, just a quick query.
It seems a little odd that once you've created one of the articles for the memories (or whoever else), you follow the format of hiding the culprit, but leave the case summary out for all to see.
Though they may require a bit of a revamp in terms of the layout, I just thought it might be the best course of action to merge the two sections together for now, if you are looking to create any more, and clean up the others soon after. Slate Vesper (talk) 02:34, December 21, 2014 (UTC)

Abstergo Moles[edit source]
Hi Arcemz, Darman here. I have 3 questions regarding the Assassin-aligned moles in Abstergo:
- Does the Man in Montreal have/need a page? I think he's pictured here, but beyond Database: Assassin Intel 5 saying he's dead, and this post seeming to confirm it towards the end, I don't know if there's enough Initiates info to justify this.
- The same ATA post postulates that the Helix initiate from Unity is separate from the one for Syndicate. Do we change the page, or is this not official canon?
- Unless I'm mistaken, the dead mole referred to here is the Abstergo research analyst, right?
If you could help on any of them that'd be nice. Thanks. Darman (talk) 15:54, February 29, 2016 (UTC)
- As far as I know the man in Montreal doesn't have a page, and I don't think there's enough evidence to properly identify him, so I don't think he needs one at this stage.
- With the Helix initiate, I don't know of any evidence that suggests they're the same one from Unity and Syndicate, nor that they'e separate, and both Darby and Jeffrey say that the Initiate is just "you" which unfortunately doesn't help us much. Best to leave it for now I think.
- The dead mole is John Standish, since he was originally working for the Assassins before going all Sage-crazy and letting himself get shot by Abstergo guards. The new mole Rebecca's referring to is the research analyst.
- Hope that helps, it is really frustrating though for us with the whole modern day protagonist being "you" and I really wish they're give us an actual protagonist to make things easier. <choose><option>http://images.wikia.com/assassinscreed/images/7/7f/ArcemzSig.png</option></choose> 09:35, March 2, 2016 (UTC)
Ahh, much thanks for clearing it up. Seems I'm not the only one who's confused. I wasn't thinking of changing the Helix analyst page myself, I wondering if we should do something, since the ATA article proposed that:
- "[T]he initiate [...] is different from the protagonist of Unity [because] Bishop [takes] for granted the information about Assassins and Templars [and] tells the initiate “We both know...” [...] He/she is, therefore, a “veteran” initiate [...] which perhaps has made the understanding of the plot a bit hard for the beginners."

Weapon Stats[edit source]
Arcemz, it's Darman.
I'm working on adding the AC: Unity weapons to the appropriate pages (Swords, Long, Guns, &c.) but I've encountered a problem: the game uses the stats Damage, Parry, Speed and Range, but unlike other AC weapon stats, there's no numeral value, you just know a weapon has larger/smaller bars than another. However, the Official Prima Guide uses the stats Name, Damage, Strong Attack Damage, Perfect Parry Bonus, Purchase Cost, Upgrade Cost, and Availability. Worsening matters, the guide doesn't include Dead Kings weapons, so all I have for DLC weapon stats are videos or websites like this, the numerical authenticity of which I doubt. What do I do? --Darman (talk) 02:21, April 30, 2016 (UTC)
- To reference a conversation Darman and I had on IRC: "That's a hard one. If you find a page with close approximation and consistent numbering, I think you're fair to use it. To reference Prima, Damage -> Damage could offer a point of verification." I don't know a good way to pull the literal stats out of the game itself with ARchive_neXt, and Unity not providing indicators makes life ... hard. DarkFeather Raven's NestRaven's Hunt 01:09, May 3, 2016 (UTC)
- Assassin's Creed III was much the same, but I was able to figure out the stats with some algebra (I think). I think I did make a few silly errors though, but I expect they'll have been corrected by now. It's been a while since I've played Unity, but if you look at enough weapons, you should be able to figure out some kind of number. Are the bar sizes consistent in any way, like 1/5 or 4/5 complete, or they totally different for each weapon? --Crimson Knight Intercom 19:29, May 3, 2016 (UTC)
- Crimson, I think the AC3 stats had a triangle with "ticks" on the medians coming from the center, but I get your point. While the bar shapes may be consistent, I don't know what the max value is. It's safe to assume Prima Guide's Damage is right, and to project that onto the other stats, but I also know the Syndicate weapons have different max values, varying between 10-12 depending on the weapon & the stat, even though the bars are the same length. --Darman (talk) 22:08, May 3, 2016 (UTC)
- I'm stumped to be honest, since there really doesn't seem to be an easy solution. I would have to agree with Dark though on using whatever data you can find on webpages, because even if they're slightly inaccurate it's better than nothing and might even help to narrow down the exact value. I also don't own the Prima guide myself so I don't know exactly how it displays the weapon stats but I would suggest including stats from both Unity and the guide and if they overlap then go with the game over the guide. It is slightly confusing though, and I'm not quite sure how Strong Attack Damage is different from Damage, and what the Perfect Parry Bonus means. <choose><option>http://images.wikia.com/assassinscreed/images/7/7f/ArcemzSig.png</option></choose> 09:06, May 5, 2016 (UTC)
- OK. I'd rather Ubisoft gave us actual values, but given the circumstances, with no defined bar limits to base a numeral scale off of, I'll use what I can get. Reading the guide, it seems Strong Attack is an ability Arno/player learns, allowing Arno to perform, well, stronger attacks. However, like Blunt Weapons, it trades damage for speed. Perfect Parry Bonus basically increases the chances of parring & performing a (potentially lethal) counter-strike. --Darman (talk) 13:05, May 5, 2016 (UTC)
- Um, we're going to have a problem if I combine the Prima & in-game stats in one chart: Damage is the only common stat between the book/game, since the Prefect Parry Bonus is, well, a bonus. If we use all the above stats, we'll end up with a really big table, and the one in Swords is already a tight fit. Do we omit some stat columns? --Darman (talk) 12:29, May 15, 2016 (UTC)
- You might have to if it's getting too big. Strong Attack Damage and Perfect Parry Bonus would the ones to ignore since they're unique to the Prima guide and aren't as common as the others. Depends how many columns you can fit before the table is overcrowded. <choose><option>http://images.wikia.com/assassinscreed/images/7/7f/ArcemzSig.png</option></choose> 06:10, May 17, 2016 (UTC)
- Thought so. Will change draft table accordingly. Last thing: while we could remove the Upgrades column, the ACS weapons use it too. If we "retroactively" follow the same format, we'll need a Creed Points symbol (& Skill Points for the ACS Skill Tree (looks like ACU Sync Points symbol) ). All we have is the Akçe template from ACRev. --Darman (talk) 02:15, May 19, 2016 (UTC)
- Sorry for the late reply. I'm not good with image editing so I don't know how you could obtain those symbols, if at all. The only suggestion I can think of is adding the numerical values into the column, and place the symbol name in brackets next to the header. Not sure how they got the Akçe symbol, but it would've been easier given that it was a real currency. <choose><option>http://images.wikia.com/assassinscreed/images/7/7f/ArcemzSig.png</option></choose> 04:37, May 29, 2016 (UTC)
Philippines[edit source]
Can I ask why you took the categories off of the Philippines page, leaving it as an orphaned page after I restored them? Slate Vesper (talk) 11:05, April 30, 2016 (UTC)
Sorry about that, someone vandalised the page by removing all content, and they edited it twice so I wasn't able to revert back to the previous edit and ended up copying across the page's source code (which categories aren't a part of) from an earlier edit to restore the article. Wasn't intentional in any way. <choose><option>http://images.wikia.com/assassinscreed/images/7/7f/ArcemzSig.png</option></choose> 11:17, April 30, 2016 (UTC)
- Yeah, I literally just came to this realization after I checked the page history again, and spotted my mistake. I was headed here to edit my post and say sorry, but you got to it before me. After all, I did think it uncharacteristic of you to delete categories with no reason. :S Slate Vesper (talk) 13:16, April 30, 2016 (UTC)
Deletion candidate[edit source]
Darman here. Just pointing you to Assassin's Creed 2 soundtrack|a page for deletion. AC2 soundtrack pg already exists, this pg has irrelevant info --Darman (talk) 16:40, May 10, 2016 (UTC)
Disambigs[edit source]
Just got a quick question, Arcemz. I asked Vatsa1708, but he's preoccupied with other matters & suggested I contact another Staff. So-- What's the standard for naming disambig pages? Out of the 50-odd pages in Category: Disambiguations, just under half use "(disambiguation)" in the title. To me, it looks kinda weird & redundant seeing "This [is] for John (disambiguation)", when no one is named "John (disambiguation)" Shouldn't they be filed under the disputed noun/name only? --Darman (talk) 01:40, June 12, 2016 (UTC)
- I don't think there's a set standard but yes, that would make more sense, and it does seem quite redundant since there's a template directly beneath the title stating "this is a disambiguation page for John". I think they'd be better off without the "(disambiguation)" in the title. <choose><option>http://images.wikia.com/assassinscreed/images/7/7f/ArcemzSig.png</option></choose> 02:47, June 13, 2016 (UTC)
Hey![edit source]
Hey, Arc, it's been forever. I see that you stepped down by clearing your userpage. I wanted to make sure that was a permanent decision, since it's been a long time since I've heard from you. Everything going OK? Hope you'll stop by IRC and r.msg me soon. DarkFeather Raven's NestRaven's Hunt 04:28, February 2, 2017 (UTC)
