Trail of the Naruto

The Trail of the Naruto was a path to the Naruto whirlpools situated in southwestern Fukura Bay in Awaji, Japan.
History[edit | edit source]
In 1585, the Kakushiba ikki member and Igan shinobi Fujibayashi Naoe sought out the remaining operatives of the Sanzoku Ippa,[1] after the death of the Japanese Templar Kimura Yukari.[2] She and fellow Kakushiba ikki member Yasuke agreed to help Konatsu track down these agents and thus Naoe followed evidence of two of Nowaki's remaining shinobi on the trail.[1]
While on the trail, Naoe came across a small camp and discovered Nowaki's shinobi Goto Ginpachi and Ando Masamune stationed there. She then confronted and assassinated the two, acquiring a note about both two fellow shinobi near Kannoji Temple and his sister at Fukura Village, the Deathdealer Armor, and a spare tantō Call of the Wild, respectively.[1] Naoe later ventured further down the trail and drew a sumi-e of the whirlpools for Junjiro's collection.[3]
