The Fall was an altered representation of a genetic memory.[1]

Intro[edit | edit source]

You have now reached the heart of Colubra's Sanctuary and you can see how the Apple has shaped the environment with her rage and despair. You feel like complete strangers in this place, even more than before. It's as if nothing was real. Every little thing is altered, corrupted, and scary.

You see Colubra in the distance and you can hear the hisses of snakes all around. It's almost unbearable.

The Apple of Eden is here. You feel its corrupting presence. It's as if its aura made everything sharper, bigger than life. Even the shadows of the stalkers seem to disappear!

As you get close to her, you can feel the weight she carries, the pain she feels, the power and life force she imposes on everything around her.

This is the moment of truth. Destroy the Apple of Eden!

Objective[edit | edit source]

Join the Objective to destroy the artifact. [!] As soon as all Guards on the Objective have been Eliminated, reveal the large [keys] card.

Apocalypse Delayed

As soon as you touch the artifact, a shockwave throws you backwards! You are struck by an apocalyptic vision: Devastated landscapes, images of war and famine... You lose consciousness. When you wake up, Colubra is standing before you, exhausted. The Apple is in her hand, pulsating with supernatural light. She looks at you and, resigned, declares: "You have seen the horror that awaits us all too, but you won't be able to destroy it. Yet, it's the only way out and I must take care of it."

New Objective

Protect Colubra on her path to destroy the Artifact.

The Last Guardian

Sesha emerges from the ground and lunges at Colubra!

New Optional Objectives: You can perform a Ritual on each [keys] Objective by spending 2 of your Hydra tokens (permanently discarded). Each Ritual performed removes 2 [health] to Sesha. Note: You can perform a Ritual even if Sesha is not on the Map.

Debrief[edit | edit source]

You allowed Colubra to destroy the Apple, but it was at the cost of sacrificing her life. She went into the Isu Temple and you know she'll never come out, and neither will the Apple.

Isabel, the renegade Assassin known as Colubra, is no more. You have accomplished your mission, but her end leaves you with a bitter taste.

Even though you didn't get the Apple back, you understood and accepted that the best thing to do was to make it disappear forever.

It is now that you realize that Isabel only ever fought for the people around her, those who no one would fight for. In the end, she made the ultimate sacrifice, like a true Assassin. You will remember her forever...
