I'm more partial to Staff of St. James. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 01:52, 8 November 2020 (UTC)

Agreed. "Shattered" is just the impromptu name I came up with, broadly following convention of Imperial Scepter, Papal Staff of Eden, etc., as I hadn't progressed that far in the game at the time and wasn't sure if Admin wanted to use different format. – Darman (talk) 02:00, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
I'll be honest, I don't really care, I just chose this name cause it was used the most. - Soranin (talk) 02:13, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
I don't think there's a specific name in canon. This might be something we need Cyf to weigh in on. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 03:08, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
No specific names in canon, Aguilar and the assassins just say "the Staff of Eden". The Saint James reference is hearsay of a rumor, though:

"I have heard that a sect of ascetic monks in the Asturias mountains are rumored to possess and revere a sacred relic known as a fragment of Saint James' golden staff. Could this be the artifact that Inquisitor Ramírez seeks?" - Document from "The León Lead"

So not exactly firm ground, sadly. - Soranin (talk) 03:23, 8 November 2020 (UTC)
Looking back at Aguilar's journal he even differentiates the Staff of Eden from St. James':

"They are said to honor a fragment of Saint James' golden staff, which could be the third section of the Staff of Eden." - Aguilar's Journal from "The Abbot Extraction"

which is quite weird, but I'm including so Cyf has all the info. - Soranin (talk) 03:51, 8 November 2020 (UTC)

I know we're busy with ACV, but thought I'd bump this. – Darman (talk) 00:05, 20 November 2020 (UTC)
