I have issues saying that Synin was named after Odin’s familiar. First, we don’t know that Eivor knew about it when naming Synin, at least consciously. Second, we don’t know what the raven actually represents in the Isu Era; Fenrir was not actually a wolf, nor do I think Odin’s ravens were actually ravens. - I do belive that huggin and munnin are both just metaphors for odins mind, Baldr removes Odin's memories and gives him a way to look forward. but odin is too stubbord and just continues, when Odin returns to camp he sees synin but doesnt seem to regard that theres a new bird. My theory is that it was always "synin" just that odin didnt know or want to look forward. I can try and re-explain if it doesnt make sense -RealBearZ (talk) 11:31, 5 August 2022 (UTC)
