Transferring content from sub-articles[edit source]
Hi, I would like to know why my edit was undone, since the content of the articles [AE files: AE Emergency Manual] and [AE files: Tablet Emails] was only transferred to that article, because by the time it was made, the tabview feature had stopped being supported, however, it could no longer invoke sub-articles. But that would have been resolved just by invoking articles with {{:<articlename>}}.
Was there a vote at the time to decide whether this would be resolved by invoking the articles with another type of feature or just transferring it to the main article? --LeFaith (talk) 00:31, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
- As the one who first undid your edit, I feel I should respond. In my view, I believe all of Layla's, Numbskull's, and Noob's files should be consolidated on their one respective page so that spare pages aren't "floating" around here. I admit I didn't know the code to display pages in tabs and hadn't thought to search ways to replicate tabview, but I cannot speak for other editors. So far as I know, there was not a vote, but maybe there was and I can't find it buried in the Forums / Fandom Discussion. I just know there was unspoken agreement to manually shift everything over since the main focus was preparing for Valhalla's then-upcoming release the next month. – Darman (talk) 01:00, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
- Since this has not been discussed/voted on, it makes no sense to make that decision. This is not a simple edition, it is the restructuring of the wiki, because it is about deleting an article and transferring the content to another one. --LeFaith (talk) 01:27, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
- Following the advice of other editors on Discord, I will list here why the previous version of the article is better: The main article is faster to edit in the browser and easier to edit the desired sections. With all the sections written within the main article, the main article is more overloaded and more difficult to edit. An example of this is the 21st century conversations article (which I’m already discussing with the community about creating sub-articles). --LeFaith (talk) 02:53, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
- Not only is this, as well as the simbling page of Noob's personal files, complete articles being so that they are about collections of fully transcribed documents of past games and therefore don't need further editing, I fail to see what we gain by creating new pages instead of having an admin restore the previous ones. Nevermind the fact that editing it would require not only opening the editor of this page and having to find the name of another page to then edit it, making it also take longer. -Soranin (talk) 18:38, 11 May 2021 (UTC)

Alt Diary entries[edit source]
Pulled these from the datamined files:
- Day 1: Abruptly pulled out of an Animus session by Violet, a security contractor. Apparently accessing the Shay Cormac file triggered a virus that’s affected the whole building. I’m still a bit disoriented. I should stick with Violet until I can find Ms. Lemay or learn more about what’s happening.
- Day 2: Melanie has asked me to work with Violet and Mr. Berg, security contractors from Abstergo Industries. Violet seems to know her stuff and isn’t afraid to crack the whip. We restore servers, fix PCs, clean up tablets, and deal with weird camera glitches. All this from one virus?
- Day 3: Mr. Berg is really focused on Shay Cormac. Something tells me that the virus was meant to destroy or hide his story. I wonder how it ties into what’s going on here? I’ve been asked to fix servers on the CCO’s floor. Maybe Melanie can shed some light.
- Day 4: I finished researching Shay’s story. I think that the conflict between the Assassins and Templars didn’t end the past. In fact, I think it’s still happening and I’m in the middle of it. Violet and Mr. Berg seem happy with me. But should I be happy about that?
- Day 5: What a crazy week. My eyes have been opened. I’ve been offered a place among the Templar Order, to continue the fight against the Assassins. I feel an obligation to accept, or am I just afraid to refuse? They’ve given me time to think it over.
Not sure if the diary replaces entries once you complete the "day"? Lacrossedeamon (talk) 02:11, 2 November 2025 (UTC)
