Roman Hidden Ones[edit source]

This is an ongoing discussion.

Can we write a short paragraph on the action of the Roman Hidden Ones which take place in Italy, (Caesar assassination, Caligula's death) as we write for the British Assassins?Francesco75 (talk) 13:35, October 18, 2020 (UTC)

We know for a fact that the Roman Hidden Ones and the Italian Assassins are different guilds though with only tenuous connections to each other. The same cannot be said yet for the guild in Britain. If it can be successfully argued as two different groups then I'd propose separating that as well. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 14:58, October 18, 2020 (UTC)
I entirely concur with Lacrosse. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 20:23, October 18, 2020 (UTC)
Same. - Soranin (talk) 20:39, October 18, 2020 (UTC)
Reviving this old discussion: what's the source definitely stating the Roman and Italian guilds as separate? Previously, it seemed obvious that they were different, but with recent releases it is seeming more like there is strong continuity between the two. As there is now only a 400 year gap between the last known Hidden One activity in Rome and the arrival of the Polos in Venice, with no known source indicating a collapse of the Brotherhood in Italy post-Valhalla and pre-AC1. I'd advise to be more ambiguous when it comes to the continuity between the two branches. -- Master Sima Yi Talk 21:09, 30 July 2024 (UTC)
For a long time, I was thinking that the Polo only built the guild in Venice for the Brotherhood because it was difficult to enter in the city if you are not invited. Maybe they were other guilds in Italy at the time of Altaïr, like in Sicily or Milan.Francesco75 (talk) 05:50, 31 July 2024 (UTC)
