Legendary founder[edit source]
I think it is best for me to leave a quick-note on my phrasing of the lede with new information from Mirage. I worded it as Iltani being a "legendary founder" in the same sense that Romulus and Remus are described as "legendary founders of Rome". That is to say, "legendary founder" doesn't mean she actually founded the Hidden Ones any more than calling Romulus and Remus legendary founders mean they truthfully and historically founded Rome, but that she is apparently considered a founder in the Assassin mythos. I thought this was the most concise way of writing her lede. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 00:23, 12 November 2023 (UTC)
- I want to point out that when Tabid says “our founder” we don’t know if he means the Hidden Ones in general or the specific group at Alamut. Not sure if that should influence how we write about her. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 00:41, 12 November 2023 (UTC)
- I think that "a legendary founder of the Assassins" can mean either and preserves ambiguity right? Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 00:44, 12 November 2023 (UTC)
- I would say it implies the organization as a whole but it seeing as Tabid isn’t exactly precise in his phrasing anything else might be too speculative. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 00:47, 12 November 2023 (UTC)
