Trivia[edit source]
That trivia isn't exactly a trivia, it should be integrated in the article. And the spoiler tag isn't needed, the game is long past new status. -- D. Cello 19:16, April 13, 2010 (UTC)
Human-Isu War[edit source]
Now that they are called the Isu shouldn't it be called Human-Isu War instead. --Cococrash11 (talk) 03:20, November 18, 2015 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure the current name was adopted (either in-game or in the encyclopaedia) by Ubisoft, and subsequently became official. I could be wrong though. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 08:41, November 18, 2015 (UTC)
- Ignore my comment above. I actually came up with the "Human-First Civ" name (which makes it conjectural), so I have moved it as requested. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 16:59, December 14, 2015 (UTC)
War of Generations[edit source]
The phrase 'war of generations' is in the final release of Liberation. The capitalized phrase 'War of Generations' is in cut dialogue. Is the difference really significant enough to warrant citing 'cut game files' for Liberation instead of just Liberation? LePhantomChick N (talk) 18:41, 2 December 2025 (UTC)
- Ah, I had forgotten that it's in the game's last memory and not just the files; thank you for correcting me. I think the presence of capital letters does impact it, since they would render it a collective proper noun, like "War of the Spanish Succession". I happened to find its old deletion logs, and admin Sima pointed out over a decade ago that "It was not said in that context as a name. Plus, it spanned 10 years until the solar flare occurred; hardly more than one generation.", so maybe the name doesn't actually apply? – Darman (talk) 20:20, 2 December 2025 (UTC)
