Relation to Ezio[edit source]
Is this unstated in the novel and just implicitly meant to be understood? If so should we mention the probability in a behind the scenes section? Lacrossedeamon (talk) 20:18, 18 March 2023 (UTC)
- It is very much unmentioned. When Margaux gets to Saint-Pée she meets a bunch of Assassins, but learns the names of none of them. We learn of Fabrizzo Auditore's name bacause François Ascair taunts him just before both of them die together ("I think I've found the source of this rat infestation. How are you, Fabrizzio?", followed by "Thank you for giving me the opportunity to correct this unfortunate error tonight, Auditore." a couple of lines later). Margaux mentions that he has an accent she cannot place and presumes it to be Italian ("Neither Basque, nor Spanish, nor Moorish. Italian, maybe?"), but that's really it. - Soranin (talk) 20:33, 18 March 2023 (UTC)
- Do you think the possible relation is worth noting? Lacrossedeamon (talk) 20:50, 18 March 2023 (UTC)
- Honestly, I don't see what we could say that the name "Auditore" doesn't already do by itself. - Soranin (talk) 22:11, 18 March 2023 (UTC)
- Sure which is why it’s understandable the novel doesn’t really draw attention to it but we are an encyclopedia. My main concern with this is sourcing. Maybe we should get Cyf to weigh in. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 23:15, 18 March 2023 (UTC)
