Canonical name?[edit source]
Has this really been named the Alexandrine Civil War in Assassin's Creed sources? I don't think history has ever really named it because the conflict between Ptolemy XIII and Cleopatra VII was just the latest episode in a long history of family murder going back several generations. It wasn't really a unique or distinct civil war in its own right from what I've read. Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 07:53, May 5, 2020 (UTC)
- Doesn’t look like it’s in any of the memory descriptions but maybe the discovery tour. Unfortunately that article is very empty but one of the headers is the Siege of Alexandria. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 08:18, May 5, 2020 (UTC)
- I've seen the term Alexandrine Civil War used in Real Life contexts, if that's worth anything. — Zero-ELEC (talk) 23:50, May 5, 2020 (UTC)
- Do you have the source(s)? And are you sure that it's all capitalized? Sol Pacificus(Cyfiero) 00:09, May 6, 2020 (UTC)
- https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_the_Nile_(47_BC) in the info box but it doesn’t lead to its own page. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 00:13, May 6, 2020 (UTC)
- Also this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/De_Bello_Alexandrino which has it as just the Alexandrine War. Lacrossedeamon (talk) 00:18, May 6, 2020 (UTC)
