Steinnbjorn was a legendary bear made of stone and ice that lived on a frozen lake at Jötunheimr.

History

In Eivor Varinsdottir's visions of Odin's time at Jötunheimr, the All-Father was welcomed into Aegir's Hall by his daughters, one of which told him about the mythical creature. He would later track the bear down and defeat it in combat.
