Adam Muhabwa (born 1990), performing as Tiggs Da Author, is a British-Tanzanian singer-songwriter, producer, and rapper. He collaborated with composer team Thunderdrum to create songs for the 2025 video game, Assassin's Creed: Shadows.[2]

Early life and career[edit | edit source]

Born in Tanzania, Adam Muhabwa moved to London at the age of eight with his family.[3] He began his early career as a rapper MCing for clubs in 2010,[4] he released his debut EP under the pseudonym "Tigger Da Author" in 2013.[5] By 2015, he had rebranded himself as "Tiggs Da Author".[6] Several of his songs have been featured in television series, films, and a video game.[7]

Assassin's Creed[edit | edit source]

On 12 June 2024, alongside Ubisoft's announcement of the promotional EP Themes of Shadows,[8] Tiggs Da Author was revealed as one of three composers for the upcoming Assassin's Creed: Shadows. He worked with composer team Thunderdrum to create a psychedelic rock fusion of music that will be heard throughout the game's main campaign.[2]
