Abraxas

Abraxas was a racing horse ridden by Icarus of the Prasina Green in the Lageion Hippodrome in Kanopos, Egypt during the reign of the pharaoh Ptolemy XIII.^[1]

According to the speech of a man at the memorial of Icarus, the charioteer rode Abraxas and Santana to victory in over 500 races.^[1]

Abraxas is a deity in Gnostic faith.
One of the skins available via an Animus mod for Phobos, the horse of the misthios Kassandra in 5th century BCE Greece, was named Abraxas.
Both Abraxas and Santana are a reference to the 1970 album Abraxas by Santana.
