Varna is a city in eastern Bulgaria.

In 1509, Prince Selim met with his janissary Iskender after their last conversation in Trebizond two weeks ago. Fortifying their camp, both welcomed Selim's son Suleiman, who was passing by before he traveled to Kete. While entertaining Suleiman, Selim, Iskender, and their men prepared to face off against either the Ottoman Assassins or Selim's brother Prince Ahmet's forces.[1]
