The Restaurant Boulanger is a luxury restaurant located on Vendôme street in the Louvre district of the city of Paris. It is where Napoleon Bonaparte goes to dinner with his fiancée Désirée Clary, daughter of highborn merchants.

But the captain Jean-Baptiste Bernadotte intervened, after receiving a note from Bonaparte where they were to dine. When Bernadotte was about to spoil dinner, Clary told him that she never wanted to see him.[1]
