Iseion was an ancient Egyptian temple dedicated to Isis, located on the island of Pharos, north of Alexandria. During Cleopatra's reign as pharaoh, the temple was under her protection and she declared it safe for Alexandrians visiting to pray.[1] In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa helped the Serapeum of Alexandria's former priest Lysander in reaching the temple after he became wanted by the Phylakitai for giving food they had stolen back to the island's starving citizens.[2] Afterwards, Bayek also found a Papyrus Puzzle in the area.[3]
