Abraxas

Abraxas was a race horse ridden by Icarus of the Prasina Green in the Lageion Hippodrome in Kanopos, Egypt, during the reign of the pharaoh Ptolemy XIII.^[1]

According to the speech of a man at the memorial of Icarus, the charioteer rode Abraxas and Santana to victory over 500 races.^[1]

Trivia

Abraxas is a deity in Gnostic faith.
One of the skins available via an Animus mod for Phobos, the horse of the misthios Kassandra in 5th century BCE Greece, was named Abraxas.
