Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China is an upcoming 2014 downloadable video game available for the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. It will be included in the Season Pass for Assassin's Creed: Unity.
The game follows Shao Jun, who is the last remaining Assassin of the Chinese Brotherhood, during her return to China in 1526 after the events of the short film Assassin's Creed: Embers. Armed with her stealth and combat skills, she goes on a quest for vengeance against the Templars.
The game will differ stylistically from most previous entries in the series, being set on 2.5D plane like Assassin's Creed II: Discovery.

Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China- a new stand-alone Assassin's Creed experience delivering a new story, setting, and gameplay type. In this 2.5D reimagining of the celebrated franchise developed by Climax Studios, players will perform parkour on the Great Wall of China, kill from the shadows and take the leap of faith. For the first time ever, players will be transported to the Middle Kingdom in the 16th century, where the last remaining Assassin of the Chinese Brotherhood has returned to her homeland. Players will be immersed in a vibrant setting, inspired by traditional brush paintings and Chinese architecture from a pivotal, historic time period in one of the greatest civilizations in history. Hell-bent on revenge, Shao Jun will use the skills she learned under legendary Assassin Ezio Auditore to exact vengeance. Players will be able to rely on stealth to accomplish their mission, as well as Shao Jun's martial arts training and all-new Assassin gear.[1]
Ubisoft, a French video game developer, introduced the newest 'Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China' as a spin-off of Assassin's Creed Unity's season pass that would be sooner than expected.
The 16th century times of China are set to deploy tons of updates featuring a female main character.
The upcoming standalone game's story and set would revolve on Shao Jun, the game's main protagonist and the player's character, and the last existing Assassin's Chinese Brotherhood member. Shao Jun has been part of 'Assassin's Creed Embers', based on the 'Assassin's Creed: Revelations', where she stood as an astounding trainee of Ezio Auditore, a retired Assassin living in Tuscany's countryside. The assassin aims vendetta for those people who destroyed the fellowship.
A 2.5-dimensional graphical style game, developed by Climax Studios, will expose tons of traditional Chinese brush paintings inspired places (inclusive of The Great Wall of China, Forbidden City and other historical landmarks).
Shao Jun is set to fight against the opponents with her Jian Sword and Foot Blade, the latest Assassin gears introduced by the franchise, and elite stealth and martial arts skills learned from Auditore.
